Introducing Me

Hello. I am a little bit behind the trend but I made it here. Welcome to my new blog. Just so you will know what I am talking about, here it is.

I am Reverend Tina the Gifted Mystic. I have a couple of nicknames. Mystic Tina obviously. Also Mother Mystic or Mama Mystic to people who know me in person. Family members will call me Mojo Mama. So when you hear me say any of them they are all me.

To avoid repeating it all another time I will just give the short version: I am a practitioner of AfroCaribbean and Southern Spirituality and professionally a spiritual reader and advisor who practices "hoodoo" and an "Afrocentric" family animist spiritual tradition. I am also a fully ordained minister able to officiate any and all rites and ceremonies.

The tradition I practice is a family based structure. There are actually 4 living elder ministers in my family that preside over 2 spiritual churches. I am not an elder quite yet but getting there. I have a small private worship center where I have served clients and performed prayer services. I have a permanent empowerment altar that is set with a specific purpose every seven days.

Reading-wise, I use cards, pendulum, holy books, and can read by your face if I see you in person. I do root work and other kinds of spells and as I mentioned candle blessings and cleansings. I do other kinds of work and reading too but it seems like what I get asked for the most are those. When I teach, I can show people how to do other more powerful things.

I specialize in solving love problems and I like performing rites associated with love the most. I do all work with a minimum donation value plus you must purchase or make your own materials. Anyone who just feels like making an offering can do so to help continue one of my ministries and as a thank you I place your name on the purpose altar for that week.

Speaking of my ministries, I have a few. One is baby blankets, giving blankets to homeless families for their babies when it gets cold. Another one is care packages to Africa of clothing items that we send twice a year. And one is a Feeding Ministry that is nontraditional, sometimes in exchange for them feeding the homeless for a week I will do all or part of a client's work for no monetary offering depending on the severity of the case (they still have to purchase or make their own supplies).

I will also teach people how to do "magickal" work. Usually this is only for clients who want to learn, but sometimes I will announce a class open to the public. I use some materials from a curio supplier but I prefer to make my own stuff. When I work for clients and devotees I will counsel them to use the supplies that best fit their situation and their pocketbook.

I am also learning how to use Blog Talk Radio so I can do a weekly empowerment and free readings live on the air. I am thinking I want to do this on Sunday nights, but I am not quite ready I have to learn to use it first.

I hope I don't sound silly telling people all this. Bottom line is I am here and available to serve you. I am just now really learning how to use this internet to get myself more out there. I have been doing things in person for a long, long time. I now have accounts at Twitter, Facebook and Myspace and I opened a Skype and just need to figure out how to make them all work. If anybody who happens by want to offer me some tutoring on how to do any of it I will appreciate it and will place you on my prosperity altar as a thank you.

I have some stuff already that I want to share so I have plenty to write about. I had some flyers I use to give to clients regarding their work and maybe will reproduce them here.
