Happy Day

I have been busy living life and not been able to talk to you in this passed week. This is what happens when you have a busy house.

The children have been working on a project with me focus on learning about our family history. After the holidays were over I started a few new altars that need attention thru the day plus spending my free moments working on the web site for my radio show, which I think you will really like once it is done. I wish somebody had told me that doing this web site needed so much focus and skill. But now that I did it myself this first time I can do it any time, right. Welcome to the technical world.

Spiritually speaking, I will give you some Mother Wit later on. But I want to encourage people to keep sending their request to be placed on my altar of the week. This week the altar is dedicated to love. We are inviting passion and sweetness into our life. It looks like my Skype button on my page is not working right. It was brought to my attention by a caller that it was showing as offline even when I am online. If you want to get in touch with me, even if the button says offline try calling anyway. Until I figure out how to fix the problem. Sorry about that!

Bringing The Truth Out

You can use rootwork to bring the truth out of someone, or out of a situation. What I am giving you right now is is something that is some simple rootwork you can do today without setting an altar or burning anything at all.

Slippery Elm bark is used traditionally for both strong medicine for throat ailments as well as soothe abrasive/ulcerating ailments and digestive problems that need the flow smoothed out. So spiritually, making words slippery and making truth just slip on out on a person's mouth is an obvious use for this root. As well as this, if someone has been lying on you, or using words to bring you down, you can use the slippery elm spiritually, to purge those words and cause the real truth to slip out, effectively making their evil turn on them and expose them for the lie they are.

Keeping in mind, you always need to be intent on what you want to happen, in other words "setting your intentions". But here are a couple of techniques you can use.

If you want to be able to see things clearly, and always be able to discern the truth of a situation. You can keep some slippery elm in a purple root bag. You can do a ritual to activate this or not, your intentions themselves with a strong desire and will can activate the root for you. To keep you from being fooled or being played a fool.

Bringing out the truth from a person who you think is a flat out lie, or otherwise dishonest with you. You can powder the bark or flake it in small bits and sprinkle in their shoes or a pinch of it somewhere in their clothes, or in their car or house. Some places sell it already powdered. Sometimes it has the affect of people telling the real story before they even realize it is coming out.

It would be nice to make them a habitual truth teller, their diarrhea of the mouth only telling of sweetness or in kindness.

If you feel that this person telling the truth will do it in a harsh, hurtfull way, you can add in a little powder sugar (or powder birch tree bark which I like more) with the slippery elm to make their words sweeter. Still get the powder on them in some way if you can.

You can boil the root to a tea then take a dropper of it (10ml) put into 4 ounces water to make an essence, then put it in a spray-misting device and spray it in the air to bring out that honesty essence and have an honest, truthful vibration in your area all the time. This is a good way at your place of work where powders nowadays may have you looking like a terrorist. A mister is not suspect like that. Just make real sure you spray it toward YOU.

Most important, remember that your goal is spiritual upliftment for yourself and the people around you, because the truth sets everyone involved, free. Be what it is you want people to be to you. Slippery Elm will help support this.

Getting More Organized

The more I learn, the more organized I am, speaking directly about using the internet to expand my reach offering ministry to people.

Soon I will make changes on this blog. At the beginning, I found a server I thought I had liked. But I am starting to see that Google offers a lot of things to make it all very simple, so I am going to try to use Google to see how it will work for me.

I will have 4 pages for you to choose from. One is still going to be this one where I will share my insites with you. But I will have 3 more pages. 1 devoted to an archive of my radio show. 1 where I will have supplies and curios for sale. And one more that is strictly for the ministries and how you can get services from me.

I will spend this week making it all come togather. Then I will blast it out, that I have a "new look". I am excited about this.

I only wanted to warn you of this because you will see that the name of this blog has changed to Original Mother Wit Blog. Not to worry it will not last forever. Ha-ha-ha! smile

Lies, pt. 1

This message is about lies we tell each other all the time. Later on I will teach on clients lying when doing spiritual work!

Sometimes just in the course of life, because I read tarot every single day, there are times when one certain card pops up in almost every other spread.

Now in keeping with me getting more involved on the internet, I am starting to communicate more with my friends at Facebook. We have some of the best talks. This past week someone posted this as their status update, which made me think about how The Tower has been showing up a lot lately:

"Some questions a woman ask you will hurt her and its best at times not to be truthfull."

This generated a lot of conversation and of course I thought I would share my take. Very few people came back to that, agreeing with what the man originally said. This is because the way the statement was written made it to appear that he was saying that, sometime it is best to tell a lie. I know men who believe this. I know a man who believes this, that you should tell a lie if it will save your relationship. There is a woman author who wrote a whole book about how you should lie to keep the relationship going.

Let me tell you something. I specialize in love problems, or romantic relationship problems specifically. I have a large client base where I live that was gotten strictly from word of mouth. I now also have people calling me or now emailing and Skype calling me for work. And aside from people who want to learn how to "cast spells", most of them have to do with love and, directly dealing with "I think I am being lied to."

Most people want the truth told to them. They are not thinking about the pain it could cause to hear that truth. But the reality is, that when you deal honestly with a person, even when the honesty hurts, only then can you have a genuine relationship. In fact, the prison you are setting for yourself when you lie is such a poisonous place always hoping that the truth will not come out, you tell more lies to cover the first one and the tower you are building of lies will eventually eat away at your life and at your soul. You may even explode or implode, mentally, spiritually or emotionally.

To avoid a lie you can simply be the adult and say, I really don't want to answer that question, or don't want to discuss that. The person on the receiving end can also be an adult and accept that the person wishes for privacy. If you feel that you have to lie, usually for fear... what is it that you fear happening? Why would you share your life with someone that you not only fear but also do not trust to understand where you are coming from.

A true friend will not lie to you, and on the opposite, a true friend will not require you to do damage to your soul by lying to them. This is a sort of manipulation that is not "friendly" at all. In a romance relationship, it is sometimes better to nip it in the bud if it is something that has to be lied about.

The one who is truly for you, will be there through the good and the bad. So set yourself free and lose the lies, or the liers!

And here is a quote I found on the internet that you can hang on to and ponder, about honest interactions with people:

"…Can't you see that until someone is honest we get nothing clear. The good work is obscured, hidden in the bad."

And finally, as many of my clients happen to be women, I want to share something that the same man posted, this time is about what men really should be doing with the women in their lives.

"To my brothers I want you to know that no matter how many romantic relationships you currently have, build and strengthen everyone involved in them. Not only the women but their children, encourage them in every positive vibration you can, elevate yourself by elevating them. Learn and teach them the wisdom and knowledge you have obtained in life. Draw them closer to the Neterus, Orishas, our ancestors, and God."

Because uplifting one another in love is what this game is really all about. If you are not being build and strengthen, what are you doing in it?

A Simple Money Mojo

I like to post my spells that I have seen to work. This is one I like doing, which needs a list of ingredients, yes, but they can be gotten at a low cost, or made yourself. This spell started off as a luck and desire mojo but became about money. As it should be. Because your intentions is what makes it all come about. Should also insert here: Folks! it works best when you have an idea about how you will go about getting the money. But surprise money can be gotten with the right blend of ingredients. Such as the right sigil, seals and prayers. Of course the Cleo May is an encouragement of others to be attracted and then pay you or give you money. This can happen by gifting or if you have a product or service to sell.

Get togather the following required items!

1 Green conjuring bag, or a square of green felt and 25 inches brown yarn

1 treasure box, small - can be found at a dollar store, or a jar

1 brown paper bag

11 shiny new dimes

1/4 ounce of five finger grass

4 tonka beans

1 high john root

1 lodestone, natural colored, with iron shavings

1 sigil personal to you (you must draw this with your own hand even if you are copying it)

Magnetic oil

Cleo May oil

2 green 14 day candles or 4 green 7 days

18 tea lights

1 bunndle sage smudge

Dress (Cleo May), then light 2 of the green candles and 9 of the tea lights. Put the conjuring bag (or materials) into the box along with the dimes, the grass, the beans, root and stone. Smudge the box and lay smudge in a safe receptacle. While it is still lit, draw your sigil on a small piece of your brown paper then pass it through the smoke and add it to the box. Make a special prayer such as a recitation of Proverbs 10:22 and meditate your intention for a moment. Let the tea lights burn out but leave the glass candles burning. Pray and meditate in front of it for 9 days. IMPORTANT this is why I requested 4 green 7 days. In my experiance they don't burn the full 7 days, so you have to light 2 at the beginning then 2 more when they go out, and at that second lighting you will also use the second set of 9 tea lights. It don't matter if they burn past the 9th day, just let them keep going.

On the 9th day, assemble the bag. Anoint each item with a drop of magnetic oil on one side and cleo may on the other. Put them in the bag with 2 of the dimes and either one quick flick of spit OR! cut a small bit of hair off your privates and add to the bag. Once it is all put togather, and you are adding a good sprinkling of grass in the bag as well but leave enough to sprinkle inside the box. Seal it tight and make it a mojo bag. Each day the candles still burn after the 9 days, pray and recite with the mojo bag in hand, same time of day each time.

You wear this bag on you or carry it with you all the time, if you can't do that have it when you are doing something related to getting paid. Anoint the bag with Cleo May and Magnetic each time it come out of the box. Needless to say. It lives in its box. So smudge the box and pray over it at least once weekly and make sure grass is sprinkle in there, like a bed for your mojo. Of course, have the 9 dimes in there with it, anointed. It is now sacred.

This can be made triple strength by saying the prayer 3 times, and doing this 3 times a day, and/or repeating the 9 day cycle for 27 full days.
